Patrick Grew Up Being Told He Had a Learning Disorder and Physical Limitations. and Maybe They Were Right: He Never Learned the Meaning of Quit.

Patrick was sent to a different school, where he was taught using different methods than the “normal” kids. He wanted to play sports, but watched from the sidelines. He lost feeling in his legs. See, he was born with a genetic disorder that had doctors telling his parents he would have a learning disorder, he would never be independent. Patrick certainly didn’t learn that lesson very well: he never gave up, never quit, taught himself to walk again, learned to drive, and now works for Little Tikes. It’s an inspiring and beautiful thing.
